American Guinea Hogs
Meet Oscar and Wilbur registered hoglets we bought in May 2014 when they were 8 weeks old.
Guinea Hogs are a small breed of the pig/swine family and they grow to around 200 pounds. Information about these hoggies can be found here
American Guinea Hog Association
Their Mum and Dad, the day we picked them up 31 May 2014
They were housed in one of the stalls in the stable for the first couple of weeks as they were quite skittish and we had been having a lot of thunderstorms
with lightening to be put outside in the dog lot
Outside in the dog lot, they love it 16 June 2014
Oscar is bigger than Wilbur
This is Charlotte 9 weeks old we bought on 22 July. We took a small petmate carrier to put her in to bring home and she was as big
as Oscar and Wilbur, so we had to put her in the back of the pickup and she lay there quietly all the way home
